2012 is certainly not the end of the world. ended yesterday feeling encouraged and inspired from the leaders’ meeting after hearing all the wow stories. 2011 ended fruitful,in some way and another.
starting a new year can seem a little routine. 2011, 2012, the calendar just goes back to Jan again. but i guess the perspective you have to embrace the new year is very important. and 2012, is certainly like what Pastor How said, a year of order. finding your place, your dreams and vision, new structure, new order, putting things into place… to welcome the harvest that is yet to come.
2012, a fresh heart. a fresh spirit. there is no one season that last forever.
Gal 6:8-10
7-8Don’t be misled: No one makes a fool of God. What a person plants, he will harvest. The person who plants selfishness, ignoring the needs of others—ignoring God!—harvests a crop of weeds. All he’ll have to show for his life is weeds! But the one who plants in response to God, letting God’s Spirit do the growth work in him, harvests a crop of real life, eternal life.
9-10So let’s not allow ourselves to get fatigued doing good. At the right time we will harvest a good crop if we don’t give up, or quit. Right now, therefore, every time we get the chance, let us work for the benefit of all, starting with the people closest to us in the community of faith.
there is a season for ploughing, a season of harvesting. in due season which refers to the right time, God promise we will harvest good crop. and time is in God’s hand. never too late, never too early. He knows when.
at the end of the day, we fight for what we value in our lives. no matter what, in life, we got to fight for something, instead of just cruising through, waiting for what is to come and accept it. that life… way too boring. then, what is more important is what you fight for. fight for something worth fighting. fight for something that is eternal. i believe that make your battle more worth.
