this weekend ended with a blast. with Dr Kim’s teaching and Pst Sy ministering words. it was another breakthrough weekend. Like wht Pst Lia say, in health. 

salvation is indeed an event, but growing in God is a process. level to level, faith to faith, glory to glory. usually growth are in a cycle. often, it seems we are going through the same dryness. but often i forgot, i have progress from the previous drought.  

thinking back of the past four years in church, life seems much more eventful as compared to the aimless non-christian me in secondary 2. quote from Pst Sy, how COOL our God is to find me and save me, despite knowing what i will have done even after saving me. He still chose to save me. how GREAT our God is to wait for us to turn back even when we are rebellious and reject Him. how gracious. how AMAZING our God is that He plans ahead of time when and where and how to disciple us and put in tests in our lives to challenge and grow us, planning in times we are still immature. 

i’m grateful i found Jesus. 

I can’t agree more with Pst Lia that God plans so well that every guest speaker comes, the word they bring just seem to be just for the season. that is why He is God, and we are not. 

Jesus died on the cross not to show that God is noble to send His Son down. He died on the cross to redeem each of us. God did not sent the Holy Spirit down as our Helper so Jesus can take a break. It is because it shows He never abandons us and He provides more than what we need. 

I’m happy to say that I’m there for every milestone in HOGC ever since i joined in this race with my Pastors and ldrs. i’m thankful for God placing me in HOGC and no other place, bringing Pst How and Pst Lia into my life. well, God just knows us well.
